Training Frequently Asked Questions

Question Where are the courses held?
Answer At a location to suit you. Most clients prefer to hold the training in-house on their own premises but we are happy to run courses for you off-site, perhaps in a local hotel.

Answer All the nationally recognised courses conclude with an examination (optional). Successful candidates receive certificates from the awarding body.Certificates of attendance or achievement can be issued to delegates attending all other courses.
Question How soon can you deliver?
Answer Usually within 4-6 weeks depending on the course required and current availability.
Question What is the cost?
Answer Prices vary according to course to be delivered. For example, the First-Aid at Work Certificate is as little as £1100 + vat for up to 12 people – that’s less than £100 per delegate! We charge for training development and delivery on a daily basis, and will provide you with a written quotation before work begins. Question What training methods do you use?
Answer We use a variety of methods during a course, depending on the subject and the course objectives. Our philosophy is to “train by doing” which means that, wherever possible, we include practical exercises. This enables delegates to put the theory into practice, and see at the same time how it relates to their own workplace. This makes them feel more able and confident to use their newly-learnt skills when back at the workplace.
Question Who does the training?
Answer We have several experienced, qualified trainers. We select the most appropriate trainer for the course content and the delegate group. All trainers undertake consultancy work and can bring that experience to the classroom, citing real workplace examples to illustrate and reinforce learning points.
