Introduction This course is designed for smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks where a nominated person is required to take charge in the event of illness or accident. EFAW training enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. Fully qualified First Aiders at Work (FAW) in larger organisations can also benefit from additional support from Appointed Persons. Up to 10 delegates can attend which equates to £59.50 each! Suitable for This course is suitable for staff in shops and offices where there are a small number of people in the workplace. The usual number of employees is less than twenty-five and hazard risk is assessed as low. This course is designed to teach delegates essential life-saving training prior to the arrival of an ambulance and is ideal for people involved in shops and offices, working with a small number of employees. A certificate of competency is issued to delegates who perform to a satisfactory standard. It is recommended that this course is undertaken annually.
